Maria Ricard Ballara (Spain) talks about her desire to learn about the Asian and Japanese markets in order to develop her career prospects as motivation to attend NUCB. As a student from Europe, she talks about the necessity of a balance between Western and Easter mindsets as a criteria for a global position. This is review of a Lufthansa flight from Nagoya to Frankfurt in Business Class, LH737. After years of painstakingly collection a mile at a time, we cashed in all our miles for Business Class flights on Lufthansa to Japan. This is our flight back after a fab holiday on LH737. After an OK flight on Lufty on the way out to Seoul, this flight was absolutely fantastic! Loved every minute of it. Food was mind-blowing and the flight attendants were super attentive. I had originally taken videos of the food but somehow lost that footage...gutted!!!! But I hope the photos give you an idea of what the food was like :) Flight: LH737 Aircraft: A-340 (D-AIGX) "Düren" April 2015 Camera: GoPro/ Nikon D5000 Music (all from Youtube music library): - Believer by Silent Partner - Get Back by Silen...
My first time on Etihad was a bit of a disappointment and an extremely bumpy ride. Etihad runs an interesting 5th freedom route between Nagoya, a manufacturing hub including parts for Boeing's 777, and Beijing. For this flight, I would go through some of the worst turbulence I have ever experienced. There were several disappointments with the flight not all Etihad's fault. Our flight was late from Abu Dhabi and I was told that boarding would be 40 mins late at check in. However no updated time was ever shown on the FIDs nor was announcements made at gate. As we went past the 40 min delay, again nothing was mentioned by any of the staff nor the computer system of a new boarding time. The boarding time displayed was still the original scheduled boarding time. Maybe delays happens so often in...
Kristyna Smrzova (Czech Republic) describes the biggest change from studying in Prague to studying in Nagoya. With a keen interest in Japanese and Asian markets, she also had the chance to learn and practice the Japanese language in the Global Leader Program. She was especially pleased with the 'cultural enrichment' activities organized and subsidized by NUCB.
Small and compact lounge with magnificent view over the tarmac.

We’ve got a couple of hours to kill before catching a train from Nagoya to Takayama. We thought it was going to be boring… but who knew that we could eat, shop and have a look around in a train station? Well… there were too many things to eat and see that I’ve wished we were there longer! Hi guys, sorry have been very busy for the past month (Work, travelling etc.) and here comes a new regional business class video for my previous trip to Nagoya. It is a rather short video (A short flight primarily occupied by one meal service...) but hope you still enjoy it! Has he lost it? or is he doing some meditative dance ? you be the judge
I had to cut my Thailand trip short because I was invited to head to Japan to check out Cathay Pacific Business Class and their lounges as well as a bunch of stuff in and around Nagoya. Cathay Business class was awesome, especially since we rarely get to fly anything except economy class.
Nagoya airport is one of the three artificial island airports in Japan and it is a lovely little airport that has a big role in aviation. Nagoya is a major aviation manufacturing center and produces the wings and the forward fuselage for the 787. It is from Nagoya Chubu Airport that they are shipped to the US by the Dreamlifter. It is certainly very interesting to learn that Japan and China make a fairly large majority of the parts on every Boeing aircraft from the tiny 737 to the iconic 747 and 777. If anyone can find out why one of the original 787 is still parked at Nagoya Chubu Airport I would love to know. Since my time was not until 10:30PM, I spent a few hours spotting from the SkyDeck. It is amazing to be at an airport that welcomes photography although there were definitely a lot...
